CrashPlan will no longer be free for users who wish to use it for local backup. It was a great backup tool with continuous backup, automatic cleanup of older backups and simple to use interface.

I have also used CrashPlan for cloud backup, but found out that there is a better alternative – Livedrive. However, Livedrive is only for cloud backup and as such does not support backup to local hard drives.
Currently I am looking into following products:

Genie Backup Home ✔ (looks ok, mirror mode for backup)
Paragon Backup & Recovery 16 Free (does not have hourly or continuous backup)
